THE OPPORTUNITY
Maintainer Operator- Electrical - Chinchilla Battery and Hydrogen Demonstration Plant
About the role:
To utilise operations and maintenance skills and perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner to ensure:
- The plant is operated safely in accordance with approved procedures and processes. This will include enacting safe isolation of plant for operational and maintenance purposes via the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
- Equipment is maintained, effectively, and in accordance with plant strategies for maximum safety, reliability and availability.
ABOUT YOU
- A recognised relevant instrumentation/electrical trade
- Post trade and other certification within relevant skill sets is also considered advantageous
- Basic computer literacy
- 2 years previous experience in large industrial plant, power generation, gas plant or renewable energy assets is desirable,
- Work constructively as directed
- Reasonable participation in out of hours coverage
- Contactable for “outside normal hours” operational, maintenance and fault diagnostic issues
The following national accreditation, or business specific competencies must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe (with the employee and CS Energy to use their best endeavours to enable completion within 3 months of commencement), and be maintained for the duration of employment in the role;
- (Electrical only) Hazardous Area Installation and Maintenance accreditation
- (Electrical only) Switching Writer / Checker / Officer
- (Mechanical only) Relevant gas mechanical competencies (TBD)
- PTW Officer
- Officer in Charge (OIC)
