THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Technical Maintainer Instrumentation/Electrical at Kogan Creek Power Station, you will actively use your Instrumentation and Electrical skills to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner to ensure Kogan Creek power station equipment is maintained effectively, within plant strategies for maximum reliability and availability.

The role is responsible for contributing to undertake preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance to meet specific production maintenance and business targets, by:

  • Ensuring instrumentation/electrical maintenance is undertaken professionally and in accordance with the relevant asset and plant strategies;
  • Reviewing work methods and processes to identify areas for improvement to ensure maximum efficiency;
  • Proactively managing personal workload on a daily basis to achieve the completion of set tasks within reasonable time limits; and
  • Manage the instrument database
  • Effectively communicating with others and being an active member of the team.

This is a full time, permanent role, based at our Kogan Creek Power Station working Monday- Thursday.

ABOUT YOU

To be welcomed to the team, you will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A recognised relevant instrumentation/electrical trade certificate (dual trade)
  • Post trade and other certification within relevant skill sets is also considered advantageous
  • 2 years previous experience in large thermal power generating plant or similar industry is desirable
  • Strong Safety focus
  • Basic computer literacy
