We are looking for a talented Product Support Advisor . Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a FIFO (Perth) position on an 8\:6 back to back roster. The role will be to support Rio Tinto at their Robe Valley Operations incorporating Mesa A and Pannawonica Mine sites. The HHP product consists of a fleet of Komatsu 830E Haul trucks, Komatsu WA1200 Loaders, Hitachi EX3600 Diggers and drills. The mine site is located approximately 160kms south of Karratha.

This role will be suited to someone who is highly skilled and customer focused, ideally you would be a technician who enjoys a challenge and is capable of operating autonomously whilst delivering world class results.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways\:

Provide application support and maintenance advice for all equipment powered by Cummins engines.

Act as a subject matter expert and provide on-the-job training for the principal's maintenance personnel. This will include coaching maintainers unfamiliar with the machines in routine maintenance and diagnostic techniques.

Assist the Principal in the supervision of equipment servicing.

Assist with parts interpretations and resolving of parts sourcing issues.

Plan, arrange and supervise work within the scope of site contracts on all Cummins supported equipment. This shall include, but not be limited to, the warranty work and major component changes.

Ensure minimum downtime on all Cummins powered machinery on Site.

Conduct regular inspections in Cummins engines, proactively report on early fault detection and schedule work with maintenance planners,

Drive product improvement initiatives, influence Site maintainers with current Cummins recommendations and, upon the principal’s approval, complete Cummins product improvements on equipment powered by Cummins engines.

Provide condition reports on each serviced unit completed.

Follow the Principal’s service schedules.

To be successful in this role you will need the following\:

2yrs post trade experience

2yrs experience working on Cummins HHP engines

Personal commitment to HSE and leading an interdependent safety culture

Diesel trade qualification

HHP experience

Strong influencer and interpersonal skills

Team building approach

Proficient computer skills

Onsite mining experience

A mature attitude, organized and methodical approach to work

Problem solver and ability to work autonomously

Movex competency (Preferred but not essential)
