Description

About Us

At Displayr, our mission is to make it easier for everyone to find and share the stories in their data. We do this by creating software that makes it easy to do all aspects of data analysis and reporting, from simple tables through to machine learning, PowerPoint automation to online dashboards.

We’re a bootstrapped and profitable company - no corporate debt, no external investors. In the last seven years, we’ve grown from 11 to over 95 people, and we have 1,400+ great clients, from small businesses to Amazon.

We are proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work 2023, with a score of 98% from our employees. We are also 5th place on the Best Places to Work - Best Tech List for small employers 2024.

Displayr partners with Work180, an organization dedicated to improving the workplace for Diversity and Inclusion, particularly working conditions for women. We are the winners of the Equitable Workplace Awards for flexible working arrangements in 2023 and 2024.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic data-driven Software Product Manager for AI to join our growing Product Team. With four software products, there is a lot of opportunity for you to take ownership and be responsible for shaping the future of Displayr.

Working out of our Pyrmont office and reporting to the CEO (who leads the Product Team), you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from identifying what to build and why, working with engineers in their SCRUMs, and working with marketing, sales, and customers to sell it.

About You

  • Have successfully built software before, ideally as a Product Manager.
  • Are skilled at identifying the key “must have” software features/capabilities.
  • Are skilled at working with engineers, customers, and other stakeholders including C-level.
  • Have a natural affinity for data and data products, with experience using data tools and building great data software products highly regarded.
  • Have a flair for UX and design (desirable).
  • Be skilled at product marketing (desirable).
  • Experience in formulating AI strategies and roadmaps, as well as hands-on involvement in implementing AI-driven initiatives (desirable).

Why Displayr?

  • At Displayr you are not just a cog in a large engine. You’ll be able to see the decisions you make have a tangible impact.
  • If you want to work on big thorny problems that will build upon, test, and show off your exceptional technical skills, then you’ll thrive at Displayr.
  • Displayr is entirely bootstrapped and continues to grow safely.
  • Displayr has a high-trust environment, where you’ll be given a serious degree of autonomy and flexibility.
  • We prefer evidence over intuition, experience, and “best practice”.
  • We work hard to make the best idea win, not the idea of the most experienced person.
  • International company with offices in Sydney, Chicago, and London.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Share options in the business (join a fast-growing company in its early stages).
  • 14 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Relaxed, supportive workplace and culture.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Full-time or Part-time roles are available in a hybrid working environment where you can split your time between your home and the office.
  • Training allowance to help you grow your skills.
  • Head office by the water in Pyrmont, Sydney, with access to a pool and tennis court.
  • You can read more about us and our benefits on our Work180 page.

We believe that a workplace that welcomes a variety of perspectives, experiences and backgrounds is important and will only push us to be better. We never discriminate on gender, age, ethnic background, disability status, religion, or sexual orientation.
