Our team is looking for a motivated mechanical fitter with technical aptitude, this is an amazing opportunity to join our diverse, inclusive and supportive team.

We are seeking Maintenance Fitters Mechanical/Electrical to work in a small maintenance team undertaking a variety of activities on-site at Mayne (Bowen Hills) or working in regional QLD assisting with scheduled wagon maintenance inspections/repair work.

This position will require paid travel to Toowoomba, Townsville, Cloncurry, Roma and Emerald.

About You:

• Mechanical/Electrical Trade qualifications. (Other related disciplines will also be considered)
• Current Driver’s License
• Read, comprehend and apply technical drawings
• Knowledge of engineering best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Work comfortably in a small team environment
• Knowledge and commitment to ensuring a safe workplace
