What you’ll do

A day in the life of our Loading Dock Operator is incredibly diverse, and you can expect it will involve some of the following responsibilities:

• Perform safe and correct operation of Loading Dock functions
• Complete all warehousing receipt and dispatch activities
• Input of orders/inventory information into electronic systems (e.g. SAP, Navision, etc.) and up to date records are maintained
• Perform all manual handling duties using correct equipment
• Maintain all equipment and premises in a clean and serviceable condition
• Provide professional, efficient and timely customer service to all stakeholders.
• Liaise closely with suppliers to manage/monitor inventory controls and distribution of contract waste, materials and consumables.
• You will have to adhere to strict compliance requirements due to the client being a leading biotech company, undergo extensive training to gain access to all required areas of the facility

What you’ll bring

• Knowledge of efficient inventory and stock control principles preferred, but not essential
• Knowledge of structured safety, legislative and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tech savvy with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and ability to learn new systems
• Ability to multitask and switch between tasks easily
