Salary: $108k - $114k p.a. + Vehicle

This position will work in a small, multi-skilled team to maintain and operate our power stations. The key areas of responsibility for this role include:

• Operate gas fueled power plant, 1000kW spark ignition engines, and all associated power generation equipment.
• Operate advanced instrumentation and process control systems
• Perform regular inspection and maintenance of fixed plant, engines, gas fields and associated equipment
• Undertake electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs and reporting
• Monitor the process to ensure optimum output
• Carry out routine housekeeping duties
• Utilise the Maintenance Management and Quality Assurance Systems as part of the daily functions
• Actively ensuring own health and safety and the safety of others through understanding and awareness of workplace health and safety obligations
• Support and comply with Company Policies and procedures as advised and documented in the Company's employment policies as amended from time to time and as directed by Managers/Supervisors
• Any other duties set appropriate to the level and responsibility of the position as required and assigned from time to time by the Company
  
  We are looking for someone who has the below skills:
• Ability to operate gas plant and power generation equipment
• High level of analytical and trouble shooting skills
• Knowledge and understanding of process operations in power generation plants
• Proficiency using computers and monitoring equipment to measure, record and make adjustments within operating parameters
• Ability to conduct electrical fault finding and repairs
• Ability to maintain and repair spark ignition engines
• Ability to work autonomously in a multi-skilled work team environment
• Reliable, committed and motivated to achieving Company and team goals and objectives
• Ability to communicate effectively
  
  A current electrical license and drivers license is essential for this position.
  
  Previous experience in maintaining, fault finding and operating power generation equipment is desirable, however on the job training will be provided.
