About this opportunity

As the Head of Operations for ANZA CSS, you will be fully accountable for delivering solutions and supporting presales covering the CSS portfolio for all the customers in Australia and New Zealand. This is a dynamic role with a blend of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a strong focus on driving operational excellence. In this new unit, you will lead a team of Program Directors, Customer Operations Managers and Managed Services personnel. The Head of Operations will be a pivotal force in driving the success of our customer delivery services across all ANZA customers. This is a high-impact role that is not only responsible for the successful fulfilment of all our customers contracts but also will support ANZA CSS organization in business development activities, holding the overall CFR responsibility, and reinforcing our value proposition during presales engagements. This role reports to the Head of CSS CU ANZA and part of the leadership team.

What you will do

  • Program Management, Operational Excellence, Capability & Workforce, Delivery Strategy, Governance and Financial Steering.
  • Lead the portfolio of programs and managed services contracts for all ANZA CSS customers and secure operational and financial progress as per the approved business cases.
  • Responsible for ANZA CU CSS delivery capacity planning.
  • Secure effective staffing of programs, projects, and presales engagements including right-shoring.
  • Support HW supply forecasting.
  • Promote asset reuse and industrialization.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to secure customer commitments and delivery excellence.
  • Ensure full adherence to Ericsson processes, ethics & compliance directives, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to implement new procedures.
  • Engage with the customer at all levels, including c-level.
  • Control Unit’s budget and secure cost recovery.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and promote best practices.
  • Act as the escalation interface towards the Market Area and Business Area for any operational aspects impacting customer commitments.
  • Program, Project & Operations governance.
  • Effectively build, lead, and develop a customer facing teams that consistently earns the trust and confidence of key customer stakeholder groups.
  • Actively contribute as a member of the ANZA CSS LT to the overall success of the organization.
  • Act as Change agent for the CSS organizational transformation.


To be successful in the role, you should have

  • 15+ years in leadership positions with customer exposure
  • Extensive experience managing a program portfolio and deliveries towards customers.
  • Deep expertise in the CSS portfolio with sound understanding of CSS Portfolio’s vision, business objectives, products, solutions, and services.
  • Experience with Ericsson’s project management framework, processes, and tools.
  • Experience in capacity planning and financial forecasting.
  • Experience in organizational transformation.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills & be able to interact with people at all levels. Financial acumen
