About this opportunity
The Support Specialist role is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
What you will do
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Respond to queries over the phone, chat, or web tickets and log tickets for incidents and service requests on behalf of IT users
- Ask questions to resolve nature of problem and walk customer through problem-solving process and install, modify, and repair computer software
- Clean up computers and run diagnostic programs to resolve problems and Install computer peripherals for users
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems including all issues which fall under the scope of support for EGI
- Assists users with My Ericsson Portal & sub application issues like Password reset Access Add/Change/Remove, User Guidance (How to) and Trouble Shooting (Application Administration) related queries
- Gain feedback from customers about computer usage and run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or chat
