About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Crew Coordinator to join our Assets and Operations Team based from Blayney.
The Crew Coordinator is a field-based role, responsible for providing direct operational assistance and support to the local Resource Supervisor in conjunction with leading a dedicated work group engaged in delivering construction, maintenance and customer service work on Essential Energy’s electrical and energy related network.
The Crew Coordinator will also be responsible for controlling and directing the work site’s daily field tasks, effective utilisation of site resources and onsite safety, including monitoring of the HIRAC process, inductions and site authorisations.
About You
You will have proven experience in using your qualification/s to supervise and lead a dedicated work group in building, maintaining, and providing customer service work in an energy distribution setting. In addition to supervising staff, you will provide operational support and assistance to other Coordinators and Supervisors.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in the application of the qualification/s in supervising site activities, coordinating employees in construction, maintenance and customer service work in an energy distribution environment.
- Proven experience and skill in the provision of operational support and assistance to other Coordinators and Supervisors in construction, maintenance and customer service work
- Proven experience in leading a dedicated work group engaged in delivering construction, maintenance and customer service work in an energy distribution environment
- Experience and application of regulations, industry standards, policy and procedures relevant to construction, maintenance and customer service work.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead or Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician – Electives Frontline Management or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications.
- Driver’s Licence
- Workcover NSW Construction Induction Cert
- Powerline Worker or Electrotechnology Trade
- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role.
