We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Engineering/Design Manager to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in Brisbane. In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Leading coordinating and managing all design planning, integration and engineering activities and approvals to ensure the technical solutions provided are consistent with project brief, budget, program to meet client expectations
• Drive advanced engineering techniques, concepts and approaches to complex engineering problems
• Providing guidance and direction on design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes
• Developing strategic alliances with suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure the design team has all of the inputs, at the right time, to deliver their work

How you'll connect to the role:

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or similar
• Minimum 10 years' experience as a Engineering / Design Manager or similar
• Significant experience in delivering successful projects in a leadership capacity
• Experience in managing multi-discipline projects - in particular, water projects
• Computer literacy and demonstrated competence in a variety of computer software packages
• Strong Leadership and communication skills
