Role Details

Reporting to the Superintendent: Technology Projects, you will provide detailed technical first line installation, support and administration of critical mine production systems and digital (IT/OT) infrastructure to ensure the mining operation meets operational targets in a safe, productive & efficient manner.

This role is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off Fly in Fly out roster from Perth or Residentially for local person living in the Kalgoorlie or Kambalda region.

About the role:

• Assist in the effective control of production related hardware and software solutions.
• Digital IT/OT Service Management:

• Provide administration and management of mine production system vendor service level agreements.
• Support and maintain operational applications, also be involved in the design, install, testing and improvement of applications that form part of the mine production system and digital mine operations centre.
• Monitor and control the health of the vital business functions with the operations centre (bandwidth, servers, tablets, Radiating Wi-Fi, On-board telemetry, switches)
  • Incident/Event Management – Work with IT functions to ensure business continuity plans are in place and effective
  • Information Security Management – Work with IT functions to ensure all relevant security policies, standards & procedures
  • Knowledge Management – Participation in the definition and maintenance of process manuals for all processes

About you:

• Valid C Class Drivers License
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Recognised qualifications in Auto Electrical/Communications or Information Technology
• Prior experience in an underground mining environment
• Applied First Aid certificate would be an advantage
