Salary range $89,558– $110,146 plus super

Who are you?

You have a Certificate III/IV in a relevant trade (Electrical), and current Electrical Practitioner’s Licence. With solid experience in maintaining industrial electrical and mechanical equipment, you’re confident in coordinating and supervising maintenance projects, including resource planning and technical reporting. You’re a practical problem-solver who works independently, manages competing priorities with ease, and delivers results. You seek challenges in learning unfamiliar concepts and skills in a supportive environment. You’re also tech-savvy with Microsoft Office. A current driver’s licence is a must as this position will require statewide travel.

About the role:

To put it simply… You will provide technical support to the Electrical arm of Production Engineering Team. You will aid in the planning and delivery of maintenance and repairs of generation assets. This will involve being able to readily respond to business needs to ensure assets are available to generate as needed to supply the NEM.

As a Electrical Technical Officer, you will be…

✓ Contributing your technical expertise to planning and delivering various production engineering services.

✓ Seeking opportunities to improve asset reliability and plant availability to drive commercial success.

✓ Provide initial technical analysis and diagnosis in response to asset condition assessments

✓ Working across the state to gain a thorough understanding of our asset fleet and respond effectively when required.

✓ Performing minor operational repairs, designs, and preventative maintenance on generation equipment.

✓ Engaging with on-site operational teams to gather and share critical insights about asset performance.
