Your Opportunity
Our Nova nickel operation is seeking an experienced on-site administrator for the role of PME Administration Officer to help deliver safe and efficient mine production through administrative support to the Processing, Maintenance, and Engineering departments.
Reporting to the PME Manager, this is a FIFO role from Perth (or DIDO from surrounding areas) working on an 8:6 Wednesday roster and will be offered on a fixed term contract through to November 2025.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
- Manage onboarding, training, and rostering for PME operations including site staff and contractors using INX and SuccessFactors;
- Manage and update PME purchase orders, service contracts, and agreements using Pronto;
- Maintain accurate records and assist in document control;
- Manage and action the Nova Maintenance admin inbox as well as answering and directing calls;
- Provide administrative support to PME operations and general site administration;
- Manage flight and meeting scheduling, as well as creation of information packs during shutdown programs;
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by PME department leaders;
- Assist the planning team with printing and compiling maintenance work order schedules for weekly and shutdown planning; and
- Actively participate in visual safety initiatives, including Visual Safety Leadership (VSLs).
Your Experience
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to workplace safety and enjoy supporting teams through excellence in administration. You will also bring the following:
- Previous site-based administration experience within the mining, construction or oil and gas industry (essential);
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with a strong focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Pronto, Success Factors and INX InFlight experience highly advantageous;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers’ licence; and
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
