The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Project Engineer to join our Melbourne operations team based in Scoresby. With the support of the Project Manager, you will take part in driving projects from inception to completion. Main duties include:

  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of allocated contracts
  • Planning and scheduling of construction activities, monitoring project progress and resolving problems
  • Supervising and coordinating resources including personnel (both internal and contractors), equipment and materials
  • Addressing any contractual issues that may arise on the project
  • Providing financial assessments and information, delivering on planning, budgeting and reporting activities

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical), Construction Management or equivalent
  • Previous experience in managing construction based projects
  • Exceptional technical skill and problem solving ability
  • Strong field management experience
  • High level of IT proficiency, computer literacy, MS Office Suite

Ideally you will have exposure to rail/road culverts, wastewater, stormwater and/or potable water networks.
