About the role

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Zinfra is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to drive our business growth and help us achieve our ambitious long-term goals.

As a Program Manager at Zinfra, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing a diverse portfolio of network and customer-driven maintenance plans, projects and programs. You'll collaborate closely with our Planning, Operations, and Construction teams to develop comprehensive program plans, monitor progress, and ensure that key deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to our clients' highest expectations.

In this pivotal role, you'll take charge of all client requirements within your programs, contributing to the achievement of KPIs and financial targets. You'll be the primary point of contact for our clients and end-customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to coach and manage a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and client-focused service.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Mentor and coach a team of maintenance delivery professionals to enhance team culture, drive individual and team performance, and ensure attraction and retention of talent
  • Manage team member workloads and assign tasks to ensure business objectives are met
  • Take responsibility for the financial success of the program by developing budgets, ensuring accurate monthly forecasts are entered into the system, monitoring and reporting on program costs to ensure EBIT targets are achieved
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planners to ensure that proposed solutions are viable and adhere to all regulatory requirements and client standards
  • Develop and review maintenance planned work estimates and facilitate budget requests.
  • Respond to end-customer queries and manage expectations to ensure that Zinfra and it's clients reputation is maintained
  • Ensure Zinfra Group's project management methodology is implemented, understood and used effectively and efficiently
  • Monitor, report and drive performance against Zinfra and client KPIs which are directly influenced by the program and team members
  • Identify and anticipate the needs of clients, deliver services that meet and exceed client expectations and commit to continuous improvement in planning, process and services.
  • Communicate key safety messages from a proactive risk management perspective in the workplace on a structured and ad hoc basis

About You

  • At a minimum, the successful applicant will possess a Bachelor's degree related to Engineering or Project Management with further education related to Business/Financial Management considered favourably.
  • Proven experience working within the utilities industry in a regulated environment. A solid understanding of electrical construction and the end-to-end project/program lifecycle (from scope development through to estimating, design and delivery) will be required.
  • Previous experience managing large teams and delivering safe, cost-effective and timely outcomes for your clients with a developed understanding of client construction and design principals.
