HR Business Partner - Part Time (12 months fixed term contract)

About The Role

This part-time, 12-month contract position is set to commence in ASAP and will be based at our Tullamarine and Broadmeadows depots. With flexibility in the hours and days that you work, you might be a HR Advisor looking to make your career move into a HRBP role, or a HRBP with a few years' experience. The successful candidate will report to the Senior HR Business Partner on the Jemena Electricity Services Agreement (JESA), working within a Zinfra business unit.

You will:

  • Work with various stakeholders, including Senior Stakeholders and other teams. You will use your exceptional communication skills to tactfully navigate different and sometimes challenging scenarios.
  • Enjoy multi-tasking and dealing with a wide range of HR related tasks, from assisting with recruitment, interpreting, providing guidance and advice on policy and Enterprise agreements
  • Supporting and coaching with performance conversations, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the operations to determine appropriate resource requirements for the contract, to deliver the program of works
  • Support the team to develop and deliver key engagement initiatives highlighted in the 2023 people survey
  • Coordinate and implement HR projects and initiatives within business areas to drive improvement and growth.

You have:

  • Experience in a similar industry working with a blue-collar workforce
  • Expertise in interpretation of Australian employment legislation, policies, performance management
  • Proficiency in HR systems (Success Factors, Livehire, PowerBI), and Microsoft Office Suite for accurate HR reporting.

A diploma or tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
