FEED Project Manager - 10 month fixed term contract

Here's an overview of our role:

We are currently looking for a Front-End Engineering Design Project Manager who will facilitate FEED work to support the execution of a Financial Investment Decision (FID) at Gate 3. The Project Manager will have 6-8 projects of various size and complexity to project manage, at any one time.

Supporting and working closely with the Asset Management and Gas Service groups you will ensure assigned projects are technically feasible, delivered to the required standard, and the impact to Jemena’s network. Additionally, your role will cover the following:

  • Performing a robust options analysis has been completed and that the most appropriate optimised solution is selected.
  • Ensuring that the feasibility concepts are developed completing detailed FEED to clearly define the scope, budget, schedule and proposed delivery strategy.
  • Supporting the Asset Investment & Analysis Manager with both meeting Jemena’s strategic customer requirements and ensuring constraints are clearly defined.
  • Guaranteeing assigned FEED’s are delivered to the agreed performance criteria and that they are completed under the governance processes in place, and therefore adhere to Jemena’s policies, processes and systems.
  • Advising Asset Investment & Analysis Manager and other relevant stakeholders on the anticipated network impact and/or operational impact of proposed options
  • Providing budget and schedule estimation to ensure all assigned projects select optimised solutions with appropriate value engineering to ensure prudency and efficiency
  • identifying and engaging internal/external stakeholders related to proposed works and attain all required regulatory and statutory approvals for the proposed projects

A little about you:

To be selected for interview please ensure your resume highlights Tertiary qualifications and/or higher in Engineering or an equivalent discipline & CPPM qualification or the ability to obtain accreditation.

Please ensure your resume highlights:

  • Experience working with project management / project delivery methodology.
  • Exposure to the Australian energy utilities/services provider and contractor market. in electricity distribution sector
  • A track record in managing delivery of engineering feasibility and conceptual designs
  • Regulatory approvals experience
  • Customer collaboration and engagement & presentation experience
