About the role
The network planning team leader will provide system planning leadership and commercial acumen and direction for Jemena’s electricity assets, customers and the Asset and Operations team. You will build and maintain planning and evaluation systems required to ensure a reliable, stable network for all customers and all connection types
Lead the team to grow their competencies and evolve their operating systems to encompass industry changing expectations, future network strategies and grid transformation requirements
Key Responsibilities include
- People leadership / management and / or mentor experience of engineers
- Deliver System Planning to ensure reliability, capacity, and security of supply.
- Develop and execute strategy for physical electricity assets
- Financial & Program Delivery Acumen
- Compliance and Reporting
About You
- Strong technical knowledge
- Experience in the electricity industry
- Experience operating in a competitive commercial environment
- Vision for the future grid and advancements in technology
- Stakeholder, regulator & customer liaison and influence
- Ability to write clearly and concisely to produce professional Board papers, business cases & reports
- Strong financial acumen
- Experience in risk assessment & management techniques
