The role:

Knight Frank Australia are looking for an experienced leader in commercial asset management to join our wider team in supporting a major institutional landlord.

To support your key client, your success will hinge on your ability to provide superior client service, build strong relationships with key stakeholders and achieve set objectives. A successful candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills as well as the capacity to provide strong leadership.

Reporting directly to the Account Director, we’d look to you to provide strategic insight into the portfolio under your management and drive the key contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide professional property management services to a portfolio of clients
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including tenants, operational staff and clients
  • Provide leadership to a team of property managers and other junior staff members ensuring management tasks are completed on time
  • Manage the financial performance of the assets and provide recommendations to clients
  • Preparation of reports including financial, arrears, maintenance summaries, tenant issues/meetings, on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Who are we looking for?

  • Have at least 7 years’ experience in a similar property management role
  • Relevant degree preferable, i.e. Bachelor of Business (Property)
  • Hold a valid and current Agents Representative license/Certificate of Registration (essential)
  • Possess competent skills in utilising the MS Office Suite
  • Hold strong analytical skills in conjunction with high attention to detail
  • Possess strong organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Be a confident communicator with a demonstrated ability to engage within a team
  • Look for opportunities to contribute, innovate and add value
