Leading Hand - Field Service
The Opportunity:
As a Leading Hand with Komatsu Newman, you are an important part of the East Pilbara Shut Team.
With your ability to create a strong team environment you will be responsible for executing shut outages on Komatsu mobile equipment on various sites within the East Pilbara and ensuring that teams operate safely and smoothly.
Excellent communication skills are required as you will be leading a small team of technicians, while ensuring outstanding customer service on site.

Salary/Wage Band: Potential Earning 220k including allowances
Roster: 8:6, 7:7 FIFO ex Perth, rotating day and night shift
Role Located: Pilbara, WA

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Qualified Heavy duty mechanic with Australian recognised trade papers
- Demonstrated post apprenticeship experience
- Extensive experience working on Komatsu mining equipment; including WA900-1200 loaders, EWL1850-2350 loaders and 830E trucks and PC5500/4000 Komatsu excavators
- RTIO inducted would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service in line with our Customer Support Charter
