Manager, Survey
About the role
Our Engineering and Program Services team are looking for a Manager, Survey with particular skills in the cadastral survey environment within Victoria to join their diverse team. We are looking for someone who is keen to progress our core LXRP cadastral work for the full lifecycle of our projects, whilst working with all key stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our projects from start to finish.
As the Manager, Survey you will be the point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, where you can treat them as customers and also understand how we partner to deliver results. The position oversees and progresses critical survey work, as well as also demanding skills and capabilities to influence ways of working and results.
On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself:
- Coordinating cadastral plan delivery to tight timeframes both within the internal and external teams
- Providing advice on land tenure and cadastral plan requirements
- Working strategically on continuous improvement projects to streamline the delivery of survey requirements
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate plan completion
This is a three (3) year fixed term position, paying a salary between $134,593 and $180,115 plus superannuation with hybrid working arrangements (a mix of office and home/remote based working – generally a 50/50 split). Our office is located in Melbourne CBD and you will also have the option to access flexible working arrangements if you need them – many LXRP employees work flexibly.

You are someone that is customer focused, has cadastral surveying experience and enjoys seeing projects completed from start to finish.
Let’s get technical – what skills do we expect you to have?
- The ability to provide active leadership direction and management of LXRP’s survey requirements.
- Can confidently and proactively lead and manage a small team to achieve team goals.
- You are customer focused and want to ensure you can maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A tertiary qualification in surveying or equivalent is required, as is relevant experience.
