About the role:
The Facilities Technical Lead (Project Completions Interface) is directly responsible for Interfacing with MTM Projects Team and is embedded in all the Level Crossing Removal Projects (LXRP), the Metro Tunnel Project (MTP) and the Franchisee Projects, MTM Project Completions Team and MTM Engineering from MTM Infrastructure Structures’ end for inspecting, verifying / closing out defects and outstanding issues, asset handover and acceptance.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing and approving Form 24s (Handover of Completed Project to Asset Maintainer Form) and Certificate 36s (Operational Completion Certificate), as a part of project completions, asset handover and acceptance;
- Reviewing, assessing and approving MTM Network NAEs (Notice & Approval For Excavation);
- Writing, updating and maintaining the Scope of Works for MTM Projects End of Defects Liability Period Structures Inspections;
- Coordinating the execution of these End of Defects Liability Period Structures Inspections interfacing with the MTM Projects Team.
- Provide technical expertise in maintenance, renewals, upgrades and constructions works
- Support the delivery of works by assisting with planning, project management, work methodology and implementation of works on site to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely and complies with designs and Metro Trains’ standards
About You:
- Current Victorian G Class Inspectors License mandatory
- Current Victorian A Class Electrical License
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate for key outcomes
- Extensive experience with Electrical Regulations
- Train Track Safety Awareness Certificate
- Experience in using project management methodologies
