About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to take on a Roster Analyst role to support the Resourcing and Strategy team within our Passenger Services team. You will be responsible for developing and managing day-to-day rosters for frontline station staff. You will be involved in creating optimised shift patterns, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining compliance with labour laws and agreements.

Key responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Develop, manage, and audit day-to-day rosters for frontline staff in alignment with operational needs and EA requirements
  • Create optimised shift patterns and adjust rosters as necessary for peak periods, events, and other demands
  • Ensure cost/quality control for rosters, monitoring expenses related to overtime, leave, and occupations reclaim
  • Collaborate with payroll to verify and input shifts accurately, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Provide rostering guidance and support to Station Masters and the Stations Leadership Team.
  • Provide relevant stakeholders with information on Master Roster material, roster altercations and suggested improvements necessary to comply with fatigue requirements.

About youKey Criteria

  • Ability to collect, analyse and present workplace data and information effectively
  • Strong computer skills and a high level of Excel proficiency
  • Background in project management, particularly in supporting and implementing change initiatives
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to engage stakeholders at various levels across the organisation
