The opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated individual to join the Community Wellbeing Department.

This position will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our residents and community members through safe transportation services.

Some key aspects of the role include:

  • Provide a consumer-focused service which is responsive to consumer needs and provides appropriate first contact resolution.
  • Be responsible for the timely completion of rostered transport routes in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and represent Council in a positive way.

About you

Moonee Valley City Council are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Community Transport Driver to transport community members in a safe, respectful, and considerate manner using Moonee Valley City Council fleet vehicles. To succeed in this position, you will have:

  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Driver Accreditation certificate
  • Level II First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated understanding of Occupational Health and Safety
  • Experience in working with a range of diverse community members including older people and people with disabilities, and;
  • Demonstrated a high level of communication and customer service skills.
