  • Permanent full-time position
  • Salary commencing at $67,336.54 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation
  • Fortnightly RDOs available

The Opportunity

Work as part of Council's Cleansing team, committed to providing high level customer service to enhance Council's streets, car parks and shopping strips.

Responsibilities

  • Work with different machinery, plant and equipment ensuring programmed work schedules and requests are completed
  • Adhere to Council's Safe Work instructions and ensure any plant and equipment are always used in a safe manner with pre-start checks completed
  • Provide daily operational reports
  • Work as a team player and assist in the training of other employees as required

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to competently operate mechanical street sweepers and associated equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of OH&S requirements, Acts and Regulations with high level of understanding of safe working practices and manual handling techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of service delivery
  • Current Victorian Heavy Rigid Drivers License
