  • Full-Time Temporary position available.
  • Salary commencing at $106,194.54 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation, commensurate with experience.

The Opportunity

Moonee Valley City Council is looking for a motivated and capable individual to oversee Aged and Disability Services' adherence to quality and compliance obligations, performance reporting, continuous improvement, client management system maintenance, and business systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the broader leadership group to drive the development, implementation and review of policies, procedures and work practices
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance and accreditation with relevant legislation, policies and procedures for the department.
  • Oversee and manage the departments client management system to ensure the system effectively supports the departments business needs
  • Develop, implement and coordinate sustainable initiatives, policy options and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure efficient and effective leadership and management of the Business Support Officer(s) and associated systems and processes, including payroll, client invoicing, reporting to funding agencies and client communications.
  • Prepare and present an analysis of quarterly performance reports to the Aged and Disability leadership team
  • Investigate and analyse process issues, procedures and other issues relating to the effective operation of the department.
  • Using project management skills, lead multi-disciplinary projects/working groups to plan and develop collaborative and coordinated community service opportunities.
  • To contribute to the success of the Aged & Disability Department through active teamwork and effective performance of the responsibilities and duties of the position.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, including community consultation, to ensure the effective development and delivery of consumer services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, courteous and consistent service when dealing with Citizens and ensure that all obligations, agreements and deadlines are met whilst always seeking positive outcomes for those dealing with the City of Moonee Valley.
