Your Opportunity
Our Environment and Sustainability team in Victoria currently has a vacancy for a Senior Environmental Management Consultant to join our growing team in Melbourne. Develop your career within our highly successful global business and work with our local and national colleagues.

Your role will be responsible for managing various aspects of environmental strategy, reporting, impact assessments, and technical studies. This will involve the coordination of the delivery of environment and planning approvals, as well as specialist studies and documentation required to obtain local, state, and Commonwealth environmental approvals. Additionally, your role will see you providing technical support for projects in terms of environmental compliance and management.

You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and manage/liaise with specialist consultants to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Collaboration is essential, as your opportunity will involve working with our integrated advisory sector and across project teams in Australia and internationally.

Your role will involve fostering effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to support proposals and bid submissions, contributing your expertise to the growth and success of Mott MacDonald.

Candidate Specification

  • Tertiary qualifications in in Science, Engineering and Planning
  • Experience in environmental management, approvals, impact assessments, risk assessments, compliance management
  • In-depth understanding of Victorian and Commonwealth Environment legislation
  • Environmental Project management or project coordination experience
  • Experience working in a consulting environment
