A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Privacy Engagement Partner, reporting to the Privacy Engagement Team Manager.

A bit about your role

As nbn increases its focus on end-users, it holds more personal information and seeks innovative ways to enhance customer experience.

The Senior Privacy Engagement Partner role provides line two privacy guidance across nbn’s business functions, ensuring privacy risks are understood and managed. It involves training, coaching, and supporting less experienced team members.

Reporting to the Privacy Engagement Team Manager, this role supports and influences high-profile business units handling personal information.

Key accountabilities include delivering privacy risk management information, staying ahead of legislative developments, resolving escalated privacy complaints, developing training tools and integrating privacy processes into broader frameworks.

A bit about you

To succeed as a Senior Privacy Engagement, you will ideally have a bachelor’s degree and a background in compliance, legal, or risk management. You must possess excellent technical knowledge of privacy law and policy and experience in a large enterprise.

Experience in privacy management programs and managing stakeholder relationships at all levels is essential as well. Strong communication, project leadership, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to understand cross-functional project aspects. Adherence to nbn’s policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment, and the ability to succeed in complex environments are also required.

Finally, strong stakeholder management and influencing skills are also crucial.
