Job Summary

As a Partner Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving relationships and growth of existing partners through creative, business-savvy programs and initiatives. Your portfolio of Partners will include those in the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate has experience working with Managed Service Providers, Global System Integrators, and cloud resellers with a proven history of sales success. This leader will have demonstrated the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges from a Partner perspective, understand Partner challenges and the Partner’s go-to-market strategies, and to build and convey the compelling Spot value propositions.

Job Requirements

  • Develop and nurture a healthy portfolio of cloud IaaS Reseller, Managed Services, System Integrator, and/or Consulting Partners.
  • Become the principal and accountable CloudCheckr advocate for partners, acting as a Trusted Advisor providing business and product expertise with exceptional customer service
  • Create and execute joint partner business plans with short and long-term horizons with a strong focus on relationship growth resulting in accelerated revenue growth and maximized revenue potential
  • Develop and execute on plans at the individual partner level and communicate to CloudCheckr what is required to engage, enable, and equip key partners to be as successful as possible, as quickly as possible
  • Produce and articulate business cases for prospective and existing partners in collaboration with product marketing and product management departments
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to support Spot Partner’s business
  • Meet or exceed all revenue, growth and retention targets assigned to portfolio of Spot Partners
  • Performs other related duties as required & assigned

Skills and Experience required

  • 5+ Years of Partner Development management and/or experience working in a Partner role for a major public cloud provider
  • Preference will be given to candidates with work experience within an AWS, Azure, GCP, or a managed services provider (MSP, CSP, Reseller)
  • Active foundational level or higher certification from a major cloud provider
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and possessing an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail befitting a role in which contract document review is a component
  • Flexible, agile and open minded with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience leveraging common sales and customer management tools
