We’re on the lookout for an engaging and analytical Logistics Analyst within our Global Head Office in Laverton to support our Australian operations. Within your role you will provide ownership of gathering and analysing logistics data at each step in the supply chain, from raw materials arriving in port to final delivery to customer, coupled with identifying areas where product flow may break down and ways to improve processes and procedures to get orders to customers more quickly and affordably within our domestic logistics functions.

What will you be doing?

  • Be responsible for all gathering and analysing of logistics data at each step in the supply chain within Nufarm Australia, from raw materials arriving in port to final delivery to customer. Identify areas where product flow may break down and ways to improve processes and procedures to get orders to customers more quickly and affordably. When supply chain issues arise use your knowledge and skills to find optimum solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Develop and publish logistics KPIs and reports which support the logistics management team and wider business maintain and improve customer service and logistics cost performance.
  • Support the National Logistics Manager in regular internal site performance reviews, supplier reviews, requests for proposals and tenders.
  • Support the National Logistics Manager in the financial reporting and budgeting process.
  • Support wider business teams, with continuous improvement initiatives, network analysis and development through data analytics, reporting, scenario planning and insights.
  • Research logistics trends, issues, and innovations to identify potential problems and opportunities and pre-emptively manage them.

You’re a qualified Supply Chain professional with a passion for Logistics/Transportation and an eye for detail seeking your next challenge. Your natural ability to extract meaning from data and generate real insights and trends will set you up for success as you support the performance and delivery of the Supply Chain Group coupled with your extensive experience within logistics/data analytics and integration.
