An outstanding opportunity has presented itself for a Superintendent Linehaul to lead the team at our Kalgoorlie Terminal. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll oversee Linehaul operations and directly manage 3 supervisors while supporting a frontline workforce of over 60 staff. You’ll ensure efficient operations, develop people, and foster a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead safe, efficient, and compliant operations while achieving key performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Support, mentor and coach supervisors, ensuring teams are trained and equipped to deliver outcomes
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to meet priorities, optimise operations and improve efficiency
  • Monitor and plan operations with a proactive, forward-thinking approach

About you

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced leader, ideally within the transport and logistics industry, with a key focus on safety, and people.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • A resilient and proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success driving operational improvements and achieving KPIs
  • Experience managing teams in a complex environment
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • Certificate IV in train driving and tertiary education in business highly regarded
