About the team

Private Business and Family Advisory (PBFA) is one of the largest divisions within Pitcher Partners Melbourne. You will be surrounded by driven, friendly and collaborative team. You have the opportunity to work closely with our clients and assist with the day-to-day operations of their business and advisory requirements.

About the role

Within Private Business and Family Advisory team you will support a client base with a diverse range of accounting, advisory and tax services advice. Your day will be a mix of technical support and business advice. You will have direct reports to manage and mentor.

Key responsibilities

  • Review of financial statements and tax returns
  • Review of Year-end Tax Planning
  • Review of Compliance such as BAS and IAS
  • Assist with the Maintenance of accounting software
  • General Accounting, Tax and Business Advice

Who we’re after

  • Related tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting with CA or CPA qualification and experience in Professional Services environment.
  • Being decisive, showing initiative and taking responsibility for actions and task completion. Making sure that client expectations are being achieved within time period.
  • As an aspiring leader you enjoy mentoring staff and can easily collaborate and interact with key internal and external stakeholders.
