About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a driven and hands on IT Technical Analyst – Design Systems to join our IT team.
In this role you will be responsible for the ongoing IT support and maintenance of the business’ computer-aided engineering design (AutoCAD and AUD) and drawing management system (Autodesk Vault). Using your past experience and skills in AutoCAD in a similar IT support role, you will help support the strategic direction and continuous improvements for both internal and external customers.
Working across design system platforms in IT including GIS and SAP integrations supporting the design and drawing management system’s interfaces you will also liaise with the vendor for 3rd level support and escalated issues.
To be successful in this role you rely on your analytical, problem solving and customer service skills to work across a range of engaging tasks in our systems monitoring and processing, ensuring effective system administration and ensure high quality service support to understand business needs and processes.

Required skills and experience:
- Solid working experience and knowledge in a similar role with demonstrated IT technical experience in Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD or a similar computer aided design and drawing management system
- A good eye for detail, and the ability to effectively research, analyse, coordinate, and maintain relevant documentation
- The ability to troubleshoot to effectively allow for systems analysis/design and problem resolution as well as detailed knowledge of IT security principles and approaches
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Demonstrated customer service skills and focus as well as effective communication skills
