As a Senior Spatial Data Administrator, you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know.

Here’s how:

  • You will manage and administer all spatial data (vector or raster) to meet the needs of the business by adopting the role of Operational Data Steward (Spatial) and Provide advice on industry best practices in relation to data management.
  • You will design, develop, implement and maintain enterprise spatial entity relationship data models for all spatial data functional areas.
  • You will manage synchronisation of editable data from mobile solutions to ensure spatial data capture standard is fit for purpose and edited data aligns to standards for seamless integration into the corporate database.
  • You will administer external data feeds, Data licences or agreements ensuring timely fit for purpose synchronisation of data between external and PQ spatial data storage ensure up to date data is available for PQ users.
  • You will ensure data accuracy and processing date in accordance with specific procedures and service levels while guaranteeing data supply specifications exist and are constantly maintained. Establish spatial data standards and guidelines ensuring all processes and procedures ensure standards and governance is met through Reporting and remediating spatial data quality for vector data using ESRI Data Reviewer.

What you’ll bring

  • A formal qualification in Geographical information systems, Cartography, Spatial Information Science or an equivalent discipline with FME and ESRI suite of products (or similar tools).
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a similar role in other organisations
  • Experience guiding and mentoring staff whilst providing technical leadership.
  • High attention to detail is one of your strengths and you use that skill to produce quality technical solutions.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast paced team environment and know how to prioritise and self-manage changing priorities.
  • You have the confidence to speak up when required and to provide suggested improvements and enhancements to processes.
