About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Asset Manager to lead the asset management strategy for a key facility management contract. This role encompasses the development, implementation, and optimisation of asset management plans, ensuring alignment with operational objectives and regulatory requirements within a highly regulated environment.
This permanent, full-time position is based in Brisbane (QLD) and plays a critical role in delivering sustainable and efficient asset lifecycle outcomes through data-driven decision-making and the integration of advanced digital engineering solutions.

Through exceptional leadership and technical expertise, your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute strategic asset management plans to optimise asset performance and lifecycle costs.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of asset management systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align asset management strategies with operational goals.
- Leverage digital engineering tools to enhance asset performance analysis and reporting.
- Monitor and report on asset performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory asset management requirements.
- Identify and implement innovative practices to drive sustainability and operational efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance on capital planning, renewal forecasting, and risk management.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in strategic asset management within a facilities management or related environment. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong analytical and communication skills to deliver exceptional asset outcomes.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in asset management, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Comprehensive knowledge of asset management principles, lifecycle costing, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with asset management systems and digital tools, including data analytics platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
