About The Opportunity

An exciting Full-time opportunity now exists for a Project Supervisor to join Programmed, working on our high-profile Housing Contract in the ACT. The Project Supervisor efficiently coordinates, manages, and monitors subcontractor performance of maintenance across the contract. This role aims to guarantee the safe, timely, and client-desired delivery of all necessary works, meeting both Programmed Facility Management (PFM) and client quality standards

Nature of the position: Full-Time

Location: Canberra, Fyshwick

Reporting Line: Service Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the safe delivery of a variety of construction projects
  • Conducting on-site appointments for maintenance works
  • Approving works and managing small jobs
  • Overseeing a large subcontractor base that services various projects
  • Collaboration and liaising with the client and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in building trades/services or facilities management (or similar) in a supervisor, management, or planning/ scheduling position. You will have a ‘can do’ attitude, natural ability for people engagement and passion for excellent service delivery.

Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following[MR1] :

  • Trade qualification(s) desirable and/or FM experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building and construction- desirable.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • ACT WWVP card (or ability to obtain)
  • Police check (or ability to obtain)
  • Asbestos awareness, Silica and White cards
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint).
