The position of Electrician is responsible for providing the optimum performance and availability of the plant’s electrical machinery and systems. This position also requires installation and maintenance of new and existing plant and equipment. This position is based at our Kunwarara Operation, 65km north of Rockhampton with transport provided to and from the operations.

    About The Role

As an Electrician, you will:
  • Participate in shutdowns, breakdowns, and repairs of critical equipment, including fault finding, root cause analysis, general problem-solving and activities.
  • Perform Statutory inspections and routine electrical maintenance on site equipment.
  • Raise work orders and other documentation.
  • Work independently and with other trades performing a variety of tasks as required by operational requirements.
    The Requirements

We are looking for someone who has the following:
  • Trade-qualified electrician holding a Queensland Electrical Workers Licence
  • Current LVR and CPR qualifications
  • High Voltage training (desirable)
  • Previous experience as electrical tradesperson or Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating processing plant environment
  • Experience with PLC systems and control circuits.
  • Basic instrumentation experience is an advantage however not essential.
