Braydan Glover, who is an Aerodrome Reporting Officer in the TSV team shares his unique experience working at QAL:

“I joined QAL because of my passion for airport operations and my desire to advance within the aviation industry. One of the aspects I value most about QAL is the flexibility it offers, especially as I plan to study part-time for a bachelor’s in aviation management at Griffith University online in 2025. The ARO role provides the ideal balance, allowing me to manage my studies and spend valuable time with family whilst still working a part time position.

What I love most about QAL is the company culture. It’s a welcoming and supportive environment, where collaboration is highly valued. The communication between our ARO team, duty managers, and stakeholders across Townsville Airport is excellent, helping us work together to ensure smooth airside operations.

In my role, I contribute by fostering open communication, ensuring compliance, and helping to streamline airside operations. QAL also gives me the chance to develop professionally. Regular updates on company news and monthly meetings with our sister airports ensure we’re always aligned, and I’m excited about the growth opportunities across the business. QAL truly supports my career development while making sure we all work as a team."
