Your opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager, HSW Enabling & Support, we are seeking a passionate safety professional to join our dedicated Health and Safety team. Connecting with the business to become a trusted partner, this role provides professional coaching, advice and support on the continued development and delivery of Urban Utilities HSW framework, ensuring legislative requirements and organisation objectives are met.
You will enjoy variety in your week, whether you’re out at site, working in head office or from home. Working collaboratively, you will communicate and connect with a broad range of stakeholders and not afraid to get amongst the muck! This role is responsible for proactively partnering with the business and operational leadership to support the consistent delivery and implementation of HSW activities across the organisation, in order to improve on HSW outcomes and performance. You will join a team that offers real work life balance, use of a company vehicle for site visits and the opportunity to access a range of benefits. About you:
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, fostering a strong safety culture to keep our people and community safe. Ideally you will have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Relevant tertiary study in Workplace Health and Safety or similar discipline
Rehabilitation and Return to Work Co-ordination
Significant experience in Health and Safety advisory and leadership coaching roles within high-risk industry
Safety in Design, HAZOP, Bow Tie Facilitation
Experience in construction management; particularly overseeing contractor delivery
ICAM Lead Investigator (desirable)
