Education Standards Coordinator
Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
This position is a full-time, 2-year fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide committee coordination to the CPD Committee (online and face-to-face), which involves preparing agendas and writing minutes, follow up actions, and support for any sub project groups as required.
- Assist with the preparation of documents/proposals for the RANZCOG committees, and circulation to relevant stakeholders (e.g. College members and staff), and collation and consolidation of feedback.
- Manage survey requests process from College members and external third parties including facilitating discussion and approval process at the CPD committee.
- Maintain a record of non-compliant members at all times and assist the Education Standards Lead with reporting to stakeholders.
- Manage the non-compliance and overdue process that includes identifying overdue CPD participants, assist them to complete CPD requirements and if non-compliant, follow the Membership Review Committee (MRC) process, closely liaising with the MRC coordinator.
- Support the MRC coordinator with reinstatement to Fellowship requests for Fellows, who have been absent or removed from the Fellowship, following work instructions and liaising with otherteams/staff as necessary.
- Support the CPD Support unit with annual verification process.
- Implement the CPD activity approval process in line with the CPD framework.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Education Standards Lead and/or Executive Director, Education Development.
Ko wai koe | About you - Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in providing compliance support/reporting
- Sound experience gained in a professional environment, supporting committees (or similar bodies) and general administration.
- Experience of facilitating online meetings using Zoom and/or other videoconferencing programs.
- Highly developed planning and organisational skills, including the ability to effectively handle conflicting priorities, establish timeframes and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare accurate meeting agendas and minutes and draft a wide range of correspondence and reports for a wide-range of audiences.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently liaise and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, individuals and groups.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to initiate improvements to procedures and process.
- High level computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both independently and in a team environment.
- An interest in, and commitment to issues concerning women’s health, an interest in health education, and a positive attitude towards developing further skills in an educational setting.
