About the Team

The Electronics Engineering team are responsible for the development, integration and testing of commercial and military electrical/electronic systems.

About the Role

The Electrical\Electronics Engineer, under general supervision, is responsible to support development, integration, and testing of commercial off the shelf (COTS), military off the shelf (MOTS) and\or custom electrical\electronic systems. The Electrical\Electronic Engineer contributes to the completion of allocated work packages in line with schedule and cost constraints.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical\Electronic Engineering or related discipline that is recognised by Engineers Australia;
  • Ability to work under limited supervision as well as contribute in a professional team environment;
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, while understanding and managing priorities;
  • Strong analytical skills with well-developed attention to detail;
  • Strong levels of initiative, self-motivation and aptitude to learn;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems;
  • Understanding of design standards and an ability to apply them;
  • Ability to travel interstate and\or internationally when required; and
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
