About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, Electronic Solutions Adelaide; the Project Manager is responsible for managing the development, production and delivery of allocated work packages for various projects.

Responsible for the effective execution of assigned projects, the Project Manager uses their project management skills, strategic mindset and the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure optimal customer service and end user experiences for assigned programs whilst remaining on time and within budget.

This position will require the successful applicant to be located in Adelaide, SA.

As Project Manager, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

• Contract execution, administration and compliance to ensure deliverables meet timeline, scope and quality standards;
• Management of resources and procurement requirements within budget and on schedule;
• Present progress reports to stakeholders, and challenges and remediation plans when necessary;
• Review, monitor and report on the project performance to ensure that the project is being progressed in accordance with the Contract Master Schedule and the Statement of Work;
• Liaise with the Cost Account Manager (CAM) to manage and coordinate EVM reporting;
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders;
• Contribute to the development of commercial bids and offers;
• Maintain strict confidentiality; and
• Contribute to business improvement/quality programs and enterprise risk management activities.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

• Tertiary qualifications in project management or equivalent experience;
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, (Defence experience highly desirable);
• Strong project planning, timeline management, budgeting and reporting skills;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
• Risk identification and management experience;
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Enterprise Scheduling software such as Open Plan;
• Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required;
• Ability to meet ITAR requirements; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
