THE ROLE

This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively manage administrative tasks, facilitate communication among project stakeholders, and ensure the smooth flow of project operations.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the project office
  • Manage office supplies and equipment
  • Oversee office maintenance and cleanliness
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications (emails, phone calls, letters)
  • Act as a liaison between different departments or teams
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events
  • Prepare agendas and make necessary arrangements for meetings
  • Assist in planning and organising company events
  • Enter and manage accurate data in spreadsheets & databases.
  • Generate reports and analyse data as needed.
  • Make travel arrangements for employees, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
  • Provide administrative support to stakeholders
  • Handle routine tasks such as filing, copying, and printing
  • Help with onboarding new employees
  • Maintain employee records
  • Assist in budget tracking and expense management
  • Process invoices and expense reports.
  • Provide basic IT support, such as trouble shooting computer issues
  • Coordinate with the IT department for more complex technical problems
  • Ensure that the office operates in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations and legal requirements
ABOUT YOU
  • Proven experience in an administrative or support function
  • Construction or related industry experience is highly desirable though not essential
  • Sound communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel is essential
