The Opportunity

Our Supply Chain Planning team are currently seeking Demand Planner for a permanent position to be based in our SMART Macquarie Park office NSW or Gepps Cross SA.

The Demand Planner will lead and animate a collaborative planning process with key participants including offer management, commercial and finance together with supporting key assumptions and changes undertaken in each forecast cycle.

Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager the Demand Planner will play a pivotal role in profitability of the business unit portfolio and its growth ambitions in the Pacific region.

This exciting new career opportunity will see you:

  • Analyze sales forecast vs revenue forecast and identify core gaps
  • Assign root causes for gaps and mitigate them in forecast meetings
  • Drive forecast and demand integration
  • Evaluate impact of sales forecast on working capital, on time delivery service
  • Evaluate forecast accuracy and bias with standard root cause codification

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management (Masters or a similar relevant discipline)
  • 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain across production, purchasing, logistics and planning
  • Advanced skills in Statistical Modelling, Certified Professional Forecaster (IBF certified is a value-add)
  • Proven analytical, statistical and data processing experience in a relevant role
  • Advanced knowledge of technical tools including Oracle, Forecasting tool (Kinaxis), MS Excel (advanced power query), Tableau
  • Understanding of Business Management and Marketing
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups and strong commercial acumen
  • A growth mindset through well-developed digital skills and a technical aptitude
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to a customer centric approach
