The role
This new and exciting role has been developed to enable South East Water to meet the future network and circular economy performance needs of its customers and communities, taking into account the challenges and opportunities of climate change, population growth and ageing infrastructure.
The Network Performance Integrated Planning Leader is a Senior Officer position and will manage the planning of projects with a focus on network asset renewals and upgrades to support network growth, performance and reliability to meet future customer demand and capacity requirements. This role is responsible for leading the development of planning investigations, concept and functional designs, project estimating, project planning, risk management activities and business case development.
Who are you?
You are Bachelor qualified engineer eligible for professional registration in Victoria, with significant experience in sewer and water infrastructure.
You promote a safety culture, therefore understanding policy, regulations and standards that govern the environmental, safety and product quality aspects of water and sewer assets, and are familiar with the relevant OHS codes, standards and legislation. You have strong, demonstrated experience with asset management and water supply and sewer systems, which is supported by extensive knowledge of WSAA, MRWA Codes, ISO55001 and other relevant standards.
It's important that you know how to build and maintain strong relationships, have extensive leadership experience and an ability to mentor fellow team members from a technical perspective. Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence stakeholders to ensure the best project outcome is achieved will be key in this role.
