The Role

Our Product team are accountable leading our FanDuel Risk & Trading vision by defining product requirements and driving innovation for NHL and NBA to deliver high-performing products from concept to market. As we continue to scale as a business, we have to ensure that whilst being laser focused on delivering customer facing improvements, the FanDuel team continues to also deliver valuable business-wide priorities through data and insights.

Reporting into the Product Director, this is a key role in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for building out requirements from the team, write user stories & acceptance criteria, work closely with tech whilst prioritizing and executing the delivery/backlog to streamline the execution of priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and facilitating product discovery workshops. Taking ownership of early life initiatives to translate ideas into an understanding of feasibility, complexity, scope, and high-level understanding of customer outcomes
  • Obtaining and analyzing requirements from stakeholders to ensure solutions are both innovative and fit for purpose.
  • Designing and implementing appropriate story and backlog management structures for a project or team and oorganising workshops with stakeholders to understand their pain points and offer solutions.
  • Performing feature acceptance testing and providing sign-off that acceptance criteria are being met by the deliverables of technology team

About You

  • Experience as a product owner or similar role (eg. Business Analyst) within a digital / technology focused business
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables
  • A strong passion for sports and sports betting, driving customer-focused decisions.
  • Understanding of the wagering or betting landscape (specially US Sports) will be highly regarded but not essential
