Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join our Darwin office. Centrally located, this role will suit an experienced Civil Engineer with general urban civil engineering and project management. Ideally the applicant will also have exposure in the design of roads, subdivisions, remote community housing and associated infrastructure. Reporting to the Team Leader – Civil, you will manage existing construction projects with long term clients around Darwin including some remote community work.

Specifically, your duties will include:

  • Project management of Civil / Hydraulic projects through the design stage including preparation of design briefs, completion of design reviews, procuring suitable resources / subconsultants, management of the design deliverables and preparation / review of invoices

  • Liaison with NT government and stakeholders to coordinate the approval of designs.

  • Development of key technical reports for clients

  • Complete management of projects to successfully deliver multiple concurrent projects in accordance with Client requirements and Stantec Processes

  • Preparation of fee estimates and proposals

About you

To be successful you will display –

  • Demonstrated civil engineering experience

  • Ability to write clear and concise reports

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and stakeholders

  • Knowledge of Australian Standards, applicable regulations and codes related to the construction industry

  • Knowledge of contract and contract procedures

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering

  • Australian citizen to be able to obtain baseline security clearance
