The opportunity | Ko te āheinga

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Water group for a Project Manager / Team Leader position. This is a dual function where you will be managing a portfolio of projects, alongside managing a team of Project Managers.

We provide a comprehensive array of services to support communities—encompassing hydraulic modelling, innovative conceptual planning, investigations and optioneering, asset management, and system enhancement.

Below is a snapshot of your key responsibilities as Team Lead;

  • Manage a portfolio of projects.

  • Understand and coordinate the team workload, resourcing and outputs.

  • Co-ordinate the assignment of Project Managers to projects with PMCL.

  • Contribute to the development of the team’s skills and experience.

  • Ensure all team members have a clear path towards Professional Accreditation, where appropriate.

  • Be responsible for team utilisation.

  • Initiate and manage business development opportunities and provide excellent client service.

  • Provide leadership and project management to team.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and develop business opportunities to grow the Water Team.

  • Support the PMCL through the continuation of migration to Stantec Project Management tools and processes, quality reviews and assessments.
