About the role

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity at Tarong Power Stations near Kingaroy.

This role carries out preventative and corrective maintenance to a range of plant equipment, systems and processes to help ensure plant availability and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on plant in accordance with procedures, ensuring all work is completed to appropriate reliability and safety standards.
• Complete allocated job requirements (i.e. order equipment, test sheets, calibration results, maintenance history).
• Be aware of costs related to work orders and cost allocation of stock issues and purchase requisitions.

About you

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Mechanical Fitter - Trade Certificate
• Drivers Licence
• Experience in a heavy industry environment or similar
• Basic computer experience (ability to create and update documentation relating to the role)
• Additional tickets – Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP
